Robert Pauletta - Ono što se ne-smije

Nakon dužeg vremena Lovro i ja smo se našli u Berlinu, te tom prilikom popušili nekoliko kutija cigareta. Za mene su bile nove, donio ih je Lovro, zvale su se American Spirit a proizvodio ih je Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company Inc., i bile su zaista dobre. Lovro je rekao da su te cigarete prirodne, tj. ekološke, da imaju svoju osviještenu publiku i da su u velikoj mjeri politički korektne. Složili smo se o bitnosti tih činjenica.

Doista na kartonskom se licu svjetlo-tirkizne kutije ponad naziva proizvoda crvenkastim slovima isticalo Natural, i ja sam znao da to nije bez razloga.

Kutiju je ukrašavala ilustracija, onako siluetna, koja je prikazivala indijanskog poglavicu kako puši dugu lulu mira. Indijanski poglavica za kojeg vjerujem, onako intuitivno, da je iz plemena Siuxx, prikazan je crnom bojom, što je pomalo neočekivano, dok je njegova perjanica bijela baš kao i lula ukrašena perom.

Poglavicu  pozadinski i profilno obasjava naglašen crveni krug obrubljen zlatom, kojeg možemo doživjeti kao izlazeće sunce ili veliki zalazeći mjesec.

Moon.

Bilo je to što Vam pričam u ranom i toplom srpnju 2013.godine. Amra se spremala proslaviti rođendan a ja sam postavljao izložbu. Nakon ugodne večere popraćene pivom i pokojom formalnom radoznalošću, koje smo si  međusobno izmjenjivali, Amra nas je napustila, pa smo se mi nastavili družiti. Obišli smo neke lokale uz rijeku da bi je zatim u neko doba prešli. Zora nas je zatekla u strastvenoj partiji šaha dok nas je Dan budnim okom pratio.

Bilo je nečega u tim cigaretama.

Curriculum vitae

Rober Pauletta was born in Premantura (Croatia) on February 2, 1961. He graduated from the Department of Interior Design at the high school which later became the School of Applied Arts. The Department was run by professor Ivan Obrovac whose influence was crucial in the artistic development not only of Pauletta, but also of a whole generation of future Istrian artists.

Pauletta graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1985, at the Painting Department, in the class of professor Kulmer. From 1983 to 1986 he was an assistant in Edo Murtić’s atelier. He is active as an individual artist for some years after the academy. From 1991 to 2003 he teaches professional subjects and the theory of design at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula. In 2004 he takes up the leading position at the newly founded MMC Luka where, aided by his cooperators, he organized a series of artistic events covering a wide area of cultural activity.

Since 2009 he returns to his activity of professional artist. His artistic biography numbers over 50 individual and 100 group exhibitions both in the country and abroad.

He was awarded several times and many of his works have been bought for important private and national collections.
