Nebojša Šerić-Shoba/Šoba

Born in Sarajevo in 1968, Nebojsa Seric – Shoba studied at the School of Applied Arts from 1983-1987, then Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts from 1989 - 1992. In 1999 he moved to Amsterdam to attend Rijksakademie, an international two-year artist residency and studio program.
Nebojsa Seric – Shoba (have been) has exhibited in museums and art spaces worldwide, including Musee d’Art Moderne de la Ville, Paris; Jeu de Paume, Paris; Kunsthalle Bern, Bern, Switzerland; Deutsches Hygiene Museum, Dresden, Germany; De Appel, Amsterdam, Netherlands; Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Sweden; Creative Time, New York City; Exit Art, New York City; Kunstmuseum, Bochum, Germany; National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia; The 50th Venice Biennale (2003), Venice, Italy; MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA, and P.S. 1, New York City.
Shoba currently lives in New York City.
